Date of Event:
Our 2017 team of Assist. Pro Rob Tadey and Golf Shop team member Thierry Martine will be teeing it up at dawn on Wednesday June 14 beginning their participation in Fairview Mountain Golf Clubs 11th annual Golf-a-Thon for ALS.
Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) or Lou Gehrig’s is a disease that affects not only the person, but family and friends as well. The PGA of BC will again conduct fundraising events for the ALS Foundation of BC through their Golf-a-Thons scheduled at courses all across the province during the month of June. Rob and Thierry have again volunteered to spend their day participating in what is not an easy task by any means. They will use their muscles to help those who cannot, as they attack The Mountain from dawn to dusk in support of the ALS Society and the societies effort to find a cure for this devastating illness.
If you wish to make a donation in the name of Rob & Thierry, you can do this by visiting their “page” on the Golf-a-Thon website. http://golfathonforals.com/
Of course, donations will be graciously received at Fairview Mountain Golf Club as well.
We would like to thank everyone who have been so generous in the past and hope that once again the FMGC goal will be reached.
