At Fairview Mountain we pride ourselves on maintaining our golf facility at the highest standards possible within our operational budget. Course superintendent Art Riome along with the aid of his assistant, Josh Webb and their dedicated team of 15 experienced personnel, begin before dawn, originating from a modern, new Maintenance Facility hidden deep in the course's 150 acres to deliver a truly spectacular golf product.
The Maintenance Department of Fairview Mountain Golf Club is always hard at work endeavoring to provide consistent, equitable conditions for golf, allowing the course to be played to its full potential at all times. Extraordinary measures are not required to elevate the course to championship form. We specialize in excellence. Utilizing modern equipment and innovative techniques, coupled with best management practices, course conditioning is always unquestionably distinctive.
Grooming the golf course never ends, from March through October, so our team is scheduled to provide top conditions for your game throughout the week. Course Superintendent Art Riome has been with Fairview Mountain Golf Club through 30 seasons of fine golf. In addition to maintaining a leadership role in golf course care, he has also been involved, if not instrumental in course renovations, construction, and course improvements of all descriptions. As well as being an Accredited Class A Superintendent with the Canadian Golf Superintendents Association, Art Riome also maintains memberships in the Western Canada Turf grass Association, and is past-President of the British Columbia Golf Superintendents Association.
